Michael Gentilella
I am a Director of SBS Solicitors Ltd and head of the Family Law Department. I have over 20 years’ experience specialising in family work including child care (adults and children), divorce and finances. I have been a member of the Law Society Children’s Panel for many years. I represent both adults and children in all family courts as a Solicitor Advocate.
I have a wealth of experience in children work ranging from serious non accidental injuries, sexual and physical abuse. I have represented both children and adults in very complex children proceedings with an international element.
I am extremely professional yet able to put my clients at ease with my calm and understanding manner. I will always go that extra mile for my clients as I am passionate about my work.
Harveena Sohanpal
Harveena is a Family Law Solicitor with over 15 years’ experience. She specialises in Children’s Law and is on the Children Panel and Resolution Panel. Harveena represents children, parents and adults in all types of public law cases. Harveena also has a specialism in forced marriage cases and speaks Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi.

Andrew Smith
I am a Director of SBS Solicitors Ltd and head of the Criminal Defence Department. I have over thirty years experience specialising in representing persons charged with all manner of criminal offences from Murder to Shoplifting. I am an accomplished advocate, I have held a Higher Rights qualification for many years. This enables me to represent defendants in all types of criminal court proceedings; and I have appeared in the Crown Court, the Magistrates Courts and the Youth Court. As an ex-court clerk I have an extensive knowledge of road traffic law. I advise and appear on behalf of many motorists, in order to persuade the court not to disqualify. I have an ability to rapidly develop a rapport with clients, quickly putting them at ease and making sure that their story is conveyed to the court.
